Maike Mei Lan

Born in Hong Kong, works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

The play between art, design and architecture in Maike Mei Lan’s work is reminiscent of the spirit derived from De Stijl. Her work advances formal ideas from the tradition of geometrical abstract art and minimalism in order to open up new visual and dimensional rhythms in time and space.
